As part of the kick-off to each multifamily redesign project and especially when trying to secure business with new potential clients, we put together a mini mood board to make sure the client approves of our design aesthetic for the selections. DeSoto Texas Clubhouse Design Strategy
This client wants their property’s design theme to stand out against the multifamily property next door that was recently renovated. They came to Modern Gem to upgrade their clubhouse with a fresh interior design and give it a major WOW factor.
For this client, we decided to combine our signature energizing design with a more masculine feel. We want to accomplish this by adding more leather and wood elements to anchor the space, to use the earthy tones in the color palette selected for their upcoming sign package while at the same time, creating cohesiveness between the existing furniture package the client had already purchased for their model unit.
Although we’re taking a fresh approach with their clubhouse design, we have selected pieces that will work well with their existing design elements to save the client money.
The clubhouse has a large back wall, which we are considering using to create a “living wall” feature lined with fantastic-looking faux shrubbery and plants, with an additional layer of hanging potted plants in front to give it dimension.
Hardware and lighting selections feature warm tones and metal accents to bring a cohesive, masculine vibe to the space, while our art and rug-selections add a welcoming, playful vibe. Drop lights from the ceiling will create an illuminating glow on darker or overcast days and evenings.
Detailed terrazzo and geometric tile will help modernize the space as we bring a matching aesthetic into the clubhouse’s restrooms and kitchen.
